The Bulkley Valley Softball Association is governed by a volunteer Executive Board, made up of community members who work behind the scenes to keep the league running smoothly. Each role plays an important part in ensuring the league operates safely, fairly, and sustainably.

Noelle Bulloch

President

Oversees all facets of the organization.

Noelle Bulloch is a mom of two teens and a passionate community builder. She runs a lunch program at Walnut Park and facilitates a monthly youth group for preteen and teen girls. After her son’s positive experience with softball in 2019, Noelle became involved with the league to help bring the program back after two missed seasons. Since 2022, she’s been dedicated to rebuilding and growing the association. Noelle loves the outdoors, creativity, and seeing young athletes learn, grow, and thrive together.

Supports the president and steps in when president is absent.

Manages road trips and away tournament participation.

Farm life, fresh air, and a little bit of chaos suit Verena just fine. A natural people-person, she enjoys connecting with others, helping wherever she can, and turning big ideas into something that actually matters. Her kids are her whole world, the dogs try to run the show, and her mind is usually juggling a few things at once. Softball has been a positive experience for her family, and she enjoys being part of a community built on good people, positive energy, and shared fun.

Patty is a seasoned marketing and operations leader with a background in helping organizations run better without making people miserable. He got involved with the association as an Uncle/Coach in 2022, and has been voluntold he'll be staying for the rest of his natural life. When he’s not herding kittens, avoiding his wife, or solving problems you’ll find him cooking, building things, or driving way too fast on the highway.

Chantel jumped into the media and communications role, and swiftly got digitally transported to a computer realm where she continues to resist CLU and his plans for total domination. At last report, she continues to fight for the user.

Lorie Farrell

Clinic Coordinator

Organizes clinics for coaches, players, and umpires.

Lorie is a Professional Geologist and experienced project manager with a strong background in governance, having previously served as a director and vice-president with the Smithers Exploration Group. She became involved with the association after her children began playing organized softball a few seasons ago. Now spanning U11 to U15 divisions, her kids continue to enjoy the sport, and Lorie brings her organizational skills and leadership experience to support the league’s continued growth.

Manages certification and scheduling of umpires.

Mark is a little busy working on umpire clinics, getting his Competition level certifications, being the head coach of the Zone 7 U15 Summer Games team, Ski Coach, work, family, and sometimes sleeping every 3rd Tuesday.

Leads offseason activites and indoor practices.

Dave never stops working on ball. We think it's like sleep-walking, and if we wake him too fast, he might have a seizure. From coaching, to fall ball, to winter practices, to setting up indoor camp, Dave still manages to sneak time in for equipment sourcing.

Organizes participation in boys-only competitions.

A pure ball player and fanatic, along with taking over Head Coach duties in U11, he's volunteered to set up boys' rep teams. When not on the field, he's busy leaping small buildings in a single bound.
